Custom Software Development Services

Build software around how your business works. Shenox develops internal tools, client portals and web applications that connect people, records and operational decisions in one maintainable system.

What we can build with you

Business web applications

Role-based workspaces for bookings, task management, customer operations and administration. The interface and underlying data model are designed together so users can move through a complete workflow.

Portals and system integrations

Connect customer-facing journeys with internal operations through APIs and shared records. Existing systems can remain in place when a focused integration or an additional portal is enough.

Data, permissions and delivery

Define who can see and change each record, how important actions are recorded, and how the application is deployed and maintained. Data import and migration are scoped alongside the new screens.

Should you build custom software or configure an existing tool?

An established product can be a sensible option when the process is standard and its limitations are acceptable. A custom build becomes more relevant when business rules, connected systems or user journeys are central to how you operate. We assess the ongoing maintenance burden as well as the first release, rather than treating source code ownership as the only deciding factor.

How the work takes shape

  1. Review the current process, users, business rules and existing data.
  2. Agree a first workflow, screen plan and acceptance criteria before expanding scope.
  3. Develop the interface, API and data model in reviewable increments.
  4. Verify permissions and real workflow scenarios, then plan deployment, handover and support.

What affects the scope and cost?

Development effort depends on business rules, user roles, integrations, data migration and operational requirements. A client portal with one workflow is a different scope from an ERP spanning inventory and finance. Hosting, provider fees and ongoing support are discussed with the proposed build.

Common questions

Can you work with an existing application?

Yes. We can review the codebase, dependencies and current deployment before proposing a repair, integration or new module. The review determines what can be reused and where a change is necessary.

Do you build React and Next.js applications?

Yes. Our portfolio includes React and Next.js interfaces connected to typed APIs and databases. The stack for a new application follows its data, deployment and maintenance needs.

Can we start with a smaller release?

Yes. A useful first release can cover one complete workflow for a defined group of users. Additional modules can be considered after that workflow has been reviewed and tested.

What happens after launch?

Deployment access, documentation, maintenance responsibilities and support should be agreed as part of the project scope. Ongoing development and third-party operating costs are considered separately from the initial build.

Tell us what needs to work

Describe who will use the software, which process it replaces and the three outcomes the first release must support. Include existing tools, data formats and any deadline that affects delivery.
